3rd April 2011: Me Dad's Special Brew
Been a bit more painting of Blood Bowl models. I've polished up the old Chaos team and added another 4 Beastmen to them, and now I'm on to updating the Undead team. After that there will just be the Star Players that will need updating with different highlights and the new GW washes. It's very odd painting over old stuff.
Finally got the dudes stripped by dipping them in some special brew me Dad keeps in his shed. The paint just couldn't deal with it and fell off.
40K has fell onto the back burner a bit at the moment as I've worked on Blood Bowl and Epic models (and I'm also working like a beaver on completely upgrading this 'ere site), but I did have a quick look at a simple Manticore mod. I've glued some little "pins" on the missile rack to stop the damn missiles from falling off all the time.

Blood Bowl, stripping & conversions
10th March 2011: Must. Keep. Painting.
After many, many, many, many, many years, my favourite Blood Bowl team the Orcs are getting some attention. Also, the Tzeentch Titan is well on the way, and am planning to use transfers for a wild change. Many things sit in the stripping pot, including 40K Eldar and Marines, and Epic Chaos.
Must. Keep. Painting.

The painting and stripping continues
9th March 2011: Pimp That Pred
A few years ago got an old Predator off eBay that was in a right state, which has spent the years since in the loft. Recently ferreted it out, ripped off its weapons and have worked on it as an alternate base Rhino for my Whirlwind, so I can use my actual Whirlwind as a Rhino or Razorback.
Also, a bit of talk going on recently about playing some Epic, so have dragged the last section of my Epic Chaos army out of the loft and will look to finish that as well.

Pred to Whirlwind
15th February 2011: Reinforcements
Another massive order recently has given me a whole lot more to do. Like I didn't have enough to do already. Though I thought myself very good for resisting the urge to start both Necron and Dark Eldar armies.
Reinforcements include another Wave Serpent and more Fire Dragons for my Eldar, 4 more tanks for my Guard, and a Redeemer for ye olde Marines. I've also got hold of enough bits so I have the option of running my Marines as a Blood Angel army, though without the stupid ass over the top shite that they can have.
On the painting side I've been trying my ass off. Finished the Trygon, finished the Epic Nurgle, finished the Dreadnought, finished the sky blue Banshee. Am now pressing ahead with the red Banshee, trying out a new dark blue paint from Vallejo on my Tau Commander (I've always used an old GW paint called Marine Dark Blue but am now totally out) but am not totally happy with it. I've also bought the Lelith model just to paint cuz it's so cool, but have had to take her off that stupid ass scenic base.
