Got my hands on a whole load of new Blood Bowl models. Most are alternate models, cuz lets face it, GW's current prices suck balls. I've converted my own chainsaw to make Ugroth Bolgrot, and added a simple stake to the model I'm gonna use as Zara The Slayer. Painting wise, have done very little, except a bit of work on the awesome pink Banshee, and some base colours on the IG Platoon Command.

As GW have pretty much broke my spirit, I've had a couple of months off. But recently got back into doing some wargames stuff. First, made some really simple rocky things to throw at the Scoob-meister so we got some terrain stuff when battling on his turf. Also, updated some old Blood Bowl Star Players, and painted a couple more. Had a delivery of fantasy football models from Black Scorpion, but they sent me the wrong stuff, and am waiting for the replacements.

Yet more price increases from GW and the switch from metal to shitty resin means I am no longer going to be buying any more GW stuff. The Dark Eldar and Necron armies I wanted will never happen, and I won't get more Tau and Battle Sisters when they get their new Codexes. This means this page will essentially become a painting blog, and as I don't paint that often it probably will not be updated that often. All I've done this last month is start work on some of the Eldar Aspect Warriors.

I'm just hoping Mantic Games newly announced sci-fi game will produce some cool (and cheap) models.

Finished updating the Undead BB team. I had to wait for decent weather to do a load more spraying, but then it got really warm and the grey spray on my Guard went on a bit rough. But sod it. Just wanna get the damn things done. Have sprayed all the new Marines and Guard tanks. Then I mixed a new blue for the Marines, as my old one (Marine Dark Blue) no longer exists. It's not bang on, but is much closer than the Vallejo one I tried. Also started the Slaanesh Epic stuff, and have gone mad pre-Heresy purple rather than the post-Heresy black. But soon after got bored so haven't done any more on those in a while.

All in all a slow month. Need to do more dammit!
