23rd January 2011: Finish Him

Not a huge lot of gaming, modelling or painting has happened over the last few months as we were once again gripped by WoW fever. That's dying down now though, and I've moved on with a few little bits 'n' bobs. I've painted my old Yarrick model, sprayed all my Tau, been doing the last bits of painting on my High Elf Blood Bowl team and their star player, and stuck together the last few epic Andrayada infantry, Space Marine Scouts and Chaos Beast Riders.

2010 was a very slow year for painting. Apart from my High Elf Blood Bowl team and a couple of 40K characters I finished very little. 2011 must not be so slow. A couple of weeks ago I decided to paint another section of my Epic Chaos army and went for the rotting minions of Nurgle. In my Epic Chaos army the Nurgle contingent contains some heavy hitting Titans and big units of weak troops to absorb damage. I've finished the four war machines, and I've got some troops well on the way.

Also, am gonna try and properly finish the many 40K things that I've started but put to one side, starting with the Trygon.
It's green and it's mean. I think I'll call it Bruce.

21st August 2010: Such Rebels

Sprayed all my remaining Eldar today. With multi-coloured Howling Banshees and red armour on all the other Aspect Warriors, Xen-Udré is a Craftworld that definitely says "F.U. we won't do what you tell us."

Also, do you think I have enough 40K transfer sheets?

14th August 2010: All Your Base Are Belong To Us

Got those ruin bases finished in a very simple way just to get them on the tabletop.

While I've been waiting for glue and paint to dry on the bases, I've also quickly sorted out the crashed ship terrain pieces from the 4th edition starter box, that one of my mates gave me a while back...

Off the top of my head I only have my 2 bunkers and the oil refinery in the works then all my terrain is finished, and maybe then I can get on with the actual miniatures...

11th August 2010: Rainbow Banshees

Here's some ideas for the crazy colour schemes I was working on for my Howling Banshees a while back. Combined with the black Banshee I've already finished it seems like it will be quite an eye catching squad. With all the other Eldar units going dark red these ladies will definitely be the rebels of the army.
