21st March 2010: The Ladies Roll Out

The ladies have definitely been ruling aboard the Galactic Alliance battle barges in the past few days. I've put together extra Howling Banshees to make the squad upto ten. The two spare Banshees will probably either be converted into Callidus Assassins or made into some special bodyguards for my Apocalypse character.
I've also got all my second-hand Battle Sisters (re)assembled and ready for some paint, including a rather nasty looking converted heavy flamer.

All that I've got left to glue together now are those mentioned Banshees, my version of Vulkan He'stan, re-do the weapons on my Tyranid Warriors, then have a look at that Bio-Titan. Then I guess there will be much paint needed. Much paint indeed...

16th March 2010: Retinue

Glued together my Inquisitor's retinue, which consists of 2 Veteran Guardsmen (old plastic Stormtroopers), a Crusader, a Familiar and a Sage (the old Confessor model).

It is expected to be the Inquisitor Codex that gets the next upgrade so hopefully all these models will still be usable. Though I will like it if the Confessor gets its own rules again...
The drop pod is fully assembled, though I might have a look if I've got anything I can fix to its roof section as that bit looks a bit weird.
And I've finally got hold of some more black spray so will have to get back into painting mode sometime soon...

10th March 2010: Hammer Time

Been a slow month, but now some new Imperial vehicles are on the way, including a stonking great big Hellhammer (though I've not even used my Shadowsword yet). Also used the Beasts of War tip to start creating a couple of Mycetic Spores for my Nidz, though am gonna take it a bit further and add some lash whips.

The basic Drop Pod structure is complete and I've started to make some different door plates that I'm hoping look vaguely like tigers:

It would be very nice if I was capable of just concentrating on one thing at a time...

13th February 2010: Don't Drop The Tank

Made a little progress on me drop pod, and have started to spray my Imperial Guard tanks using masking and different colours to create the camo scheme:
