15th December: Lights Out

Latest News

29th October 2017

Did some work behind the scenes of the game blog page so that the game filters now work much better.

30th June 2017

A couple of months back I found loads of old notes about all the old Epic Space Marine games we played, starting from back when I was in high school. I thought it would be a good idea to type them all up as best I could, and upload them all. While I was at it, I also converted the Epic-S and 40K battle reports from their PDF state to HTML, and they can be found on the Warhammer 40K page.

Finally got my pointing pictures up and into the Vault. Don't ask me why.

16th September 2018 - Looking To Finish

After completing the 6mm Nurgle and 28mm Marines, I've been slowly pushing on with completing some other long-ignored projects. Firstly, as it was the easiest task, I finished up the 6mm Khorne army. In addition to the last few things that needed painting, I've slightly updated the Daemon Engines, Lord Of Battle, Banelord, Angron, Bloodthirster and Cannon Of Khorne, so that they more closely match my current painting style.

Pretty happy with the end results, though I think that's mostly because the Banelord's new colours suit the army so much better. It will indeed be an interesting thing to see the entire 6mm Chaos army completed. Hopefully I'll manage to get there one day.

With the Khorne out of the way, I now have to decide on which project to try and finish next. I have a great many that need my attention. My most pressing options are:

While I'm deciding on which project to finish, I have decided to update some of the big Nid monsters that started to look out of date after I painted that red, black and white Carnifex a while back.

Plus, as we are looking to finally play some 40K 8th edition in the next couple of weeks, I've been reading through the new Nid Codex, and with the models I've got it looks like they'll struggle to take out heavy tanks. So to back them up a bit, I managed to get another Hive Tyrant with a venom cannon pretty cheap off ebay. It needs some serious TLC, but I'll soon sort that out.
I've also got a few new Hormagaunts on the way, and now the only other things I'd like are more Warriors and some Biovores, so I'll keep my eyes open.
