Finally got around to completing my transfer of all the old battle reports from the old site to this one, something I started a few months back. As there are so many of these battles, they are stored on their own pages, which can be found below:

I was fairly late getting into music, as I didn't pick up my first guitar until I was leaving college in the mid-late 90s. Since then, I've flip-flopped in and out of the subject every few years.

Initially, I started jamming and writing simple songs with my mate Craig, before joining a band called Cruiser with work colleague Chris. The only gigs I've ever played were with Cruiser in 2000 and 2001, unless you count 2 songs Craig and I performed during a Sixth Form Variety Show when I was working at a high school in December 2002, about a year after I left Cruiser.

Over the next couple of years, Craig and I tried recording some of our songs, along with a few jams with the former Cruiser lads, but after this I dropped out of making music for the next 6 or 7 years.

For a few years, starting in 2011, I got the bug again when Chris asked if I wanted to help him work on some of his songs. While we were jamming and recording Chris's stuff, in the background I revisited my own songs, and tried to record some of them to the best of my ability. However, the very long process of recording and mixing those songs, only to have them come out sounding nowhere near as good as I wanted them to, absolutely burnt me out. Soon after their completion, I threw all my music stuff in the loft, where it has remained for nearly 4 years.

When I started writing songs again in the early 2010s, most of my inspiration came from the computer game League Of Legends, which I was playing a lot of at the time. Here are the songs I completed that are based on the game's setting and characters:

Since nearly all of my wargaming pages were lost in the switch to the new site, I've got plenty of old images and information that I can re-upload whenever I want. Or when I can be bothered.

I figure bringing this site up to speed with the state of my Blood Bowl teams and their adventures is the best and easiest idea to begin with.

Up first are the documents. These documents contain the results for all the Blood Bowl games that I have ever played with my mates over the years, with most of them containing match reports of varying levels of detail.

Following on from the info are the images. This is a gallery of the seven teams I've fully painted so far, with my Skaven, Dwarves and Lizardmen teams still to finish.

By far the most popular things on my old site were all of the Resident Evil game maps that I made. My Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut maps were made in August 2011, which was a few months before I started doing my original computer gaming blog, and therefore they were never included in it.

It makes sense that they are the first things I bring back as part of my <Old Stuff> series of blog entries.

I got the Director's Cut of the original Resident Evil for the PS1 back in the 90s, but back then I only got to the underground section, and never actually finished the game. For some reason in mid 2011, I made up my mind that I was finally gonna get through it. And not only that, I was gonna make some detailed maps as I went on the adventure.
I started with Jill in normal mode, as that's what I tried way back then...

These maps were used by JPTR when making their Resident Evil mod for Skyrim called "The Evil Mansion", which can be found on Nexusmods and Steam Workshop. You should check it out. It looks freakin' awesome.

After going through Jill's normal mission, I decided to go through the Chris advanced mission, just for shits and giggles. Though it was more challenging (yes I'm talking to you, Hunters!) I much prefer this mode as it forces you to go to a lot of the parts of the mansion you could just skip passed during normal mode.
