This is where you can read any of my irregular wafflings about computer gaming. The whole point of this blog is to help motivate me to properly finish games, whether they be recent ones or older ones I played when I was younger that I never managed to beat.
14th July 2012 - The Final Episode?
Just finished the last Federation episode on STO. Really not sure whether to keep playing or just scrap it. It's really not all that exciting or tactical, and there are damn little bugs rampaging within, but there are a few reasons why I should probably carry on, at least for a little while:
1. The new update has just added fleet starbases to the game, so if I get into a fleet I can help construct and develop one for cool rewards.
2. A while back Mr. Gallear and I made Klingon characters, with him making the awesome Klingon Barry Scott and myself the weird little Jibbajabba. Would be interesting to see the war from the other side.
3. And also the Scoob has just recently started playing as the mean-lookin' Kharnragnar with his mighty ship the U.S.S. This.
So while I decide here's a bunch of images from the last few weeks in the Alpha Quadrant:
They can't help but admire the Borg's funky dance
Little Jibbajabba gets stuck in
These enemies try to baffle Macan by climbing on random equipment
Federation Officers really aren't all that serious about their work
According to the game this large stone column in front of Macan is a carnivorous plant
These enemy vessels must think that building is a McDonald's drive through
Where's Charlton? Is he in the other room? Have you got bananas?
I just thought this guy looked funny, alright?
Kharnragnar reporting for duty
Macan gets another bloody ship - the U.S.S. Arquina
A mighty struggle with Species 8472
Always fun to low-grav jump down a long hill
