Did some work behind the scenes of the game blog page so that the game filters now work much better.
A couple of months back I found loads of old notes about all the old Epic Space Marine games we played, starting from back when I was in high school. I thought it would be a good idea to type them all up as best I could, and upload them all. While I was at it, I also converted the Epic-S and 40K battle reports from their PDF state to HTML, and they can be found on the Warhammer 40K page.
Finally got my pointing pictures up and into the Vault. Don't ask me why.
This is where you can read any of my irregular wafflings about computer gaming. The whole point of this blog is to help motivate me to properly finish games, whether they be recent ones or older ones I played when I was younger that I never managed to beat.
That's a good question, Daniel my boy. So after much bashing of computers to get them to actually work right I have continued into Amnesia, and have just got passed the pretty damn evil prisons. To be fair, though it is a really spooky and nerve-jangling game, it's just not as bad as I thought it was going to be. You learn fairly quickly how to deal with the enemies, and if you always expect an enemy to appear when you pick something up, open a door, or start climbing some stairs, they really do not surprise you when it actually happens. You just gotta always have a hiding place in your mind and just head for it when the shit goes down.
I do quite like the idea of the game though, and have even downloaded the development tools to have a look at making my own little levels, but wow that editor is awful. Still it would be interesting to do something a bit comical if I can figure it out.
Hello? Is anyone there?
I know there's a monster out there somewhere.
In terms of future grooviness I have just started playing Transformers: War For Cybertron so I am ready for the sequel, but really should have got it on PC not PS3. I can't shoot for shite. Have also downloaded The Witcher from GOG.com after the Scoob said the second one is really good. And oh yes, at some point I may actually get RE2 and RE3 done also.
